We all have our own fables
Our own sweet cautionary tales
Of lives & hearts being led astray
Or tales of triumph against all odds
The lessons we have learnt
Or maybe not at all
The deep dark woods we must avoid
And strangers that would like to eat us!
To not judge by appearances
But let our heart guide us true
We must be kind as well – to all!
Or very, very, very nasty things could happen
Terrifyingly these fables are often true
But have different characters
You will not see a lion or hare to tortoise
But a man being cruel to a woman
Or a sad injustice that gets neglected
Listen to fables carefully
You might just notice someone you know.
I loved this. It was fun reading this. Piece😀
