Tangled limbs and lovelorn hearts
Bemused to where it ends or starts
Sweeping waves go higher still
Submitting to each other’s will
Consume – the nature of the beast
Sweet succor then begin to feast
On flesh and soul, on heart and mind
But trying to resist the bind
It flashes – melting skin and stone
What was yours, now not your own
The light begins to dim now grey
You separate, you move away
